Annoying People: Busy Bodies

May 2, 2013

Always on the move, never in a groove.

Looking for someone to disturb

Pushing past the moment, to a future never reached

emotions perpetually curbed

their imagination, permanently beached

In distress they run along the shore

looking out at the ocean floor

A noisy shout here, a splaying kick at the sand there,

“give me attention!”, they cry in despair

The sea responds, a huge roaring wave

swallows them up in an early grave.
