Weight of the World

July 4, 2013

At times this world weighs heavy on me

A toilsome future I can only see

I would like to lash out and destroy

with all my powers fully employed

but then I imagine the destruction

all of my own whimful concoction

My stomach churns, rebels

some of my anger it dispells

I stop dead in my tracks, bare and dry

wishing only that I could cry

This is really a great poem.
    Wonderful in every way.
Short and right to the point.
    Well done.
